Network

There are over 300 community futures development corporations across Canada and all are members of the Pan Canadian Network.

There are currently seven CFDCs in the Northwest Territories and 97 in Western Canada as a whole. The Northwest Territories Community Futures Organization is currently in the process of developing a website at www.nwtcfa.ca.

With the exception of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut CFDCs throughout Canada are funded directly through the federal governments department of Industry or the Western Diversification Fund. The Northwest Territories Community Futures Network consists of:

* Southwest Territorial Business Development Corporation in Hay River
* The Sahtu Business Development Centre in Norman Wells
* The Akaitcho Area Community Futures in Yellowknife
* The Dogrib Area Community Futures in Rae
* The Deh Cho Business Development Centre, Fort Simpson
* Thebacha Business Development Services, Fort Smith
